Anfaal Foundation is a registered trust under Maharashtra Charity Commissioner with registration number E-33495 and is dedicated on the listed mission to achieve our following vision;

The self-dependent community with no one deprived of rights as basic as survival, participation, protection, and development in India.
Mission:
• To form independent systems to fulfill the requirements of various segments of community work
• To promote among the youths an urge to acquire the position of the specialist in their field of interest
• Community-level medical coverage
• Driving Widows, Orphans and underprivileged of the society towards self-dependence
• Generating entrepreneurs in the community through various programs such as seed funding, start-up guidance programs, etc.
Anfaal Foundation believes in following the path of ethics and humanity in its policy, planning, and procedures to accomplish our goals.
Anfaal Foundation aims to channelize all kind of assignments which includes human resource, ideas, and funds. Hence for the channelization of funds, Anfaal Foundation is striving for the collection of all kinds of funds which is generated from the community.
Anfaal Foundation has formed a robust system to collect funds that directly get updated in its system on a real-time basis preventing any kind of fund leakage and holistic integrated collection & fund management system.
Anfaal has also been awarded Ijaza (permission) from the office of His Holiness Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Al Sistani (d.z.) to collect and utilize the amount of Sehme Imam funds for the social causes.
Administration:
All the office expenses, including but not limited to, office rent, office supplies, power connection, and property maintenance bills are managed by the monthly membership fees paid by the trustees, management and members of the trust.
Apart from paid members, Anfaal has a robust 300+ volunteer network spread across 62 areas in Mumbai and MMR which is triggered to manage disaster situations and handle rescue operations. The network was activated during the spread of COVID-19 pandemic and a very vital role was played by these volunteers cum warriors in the distribution of ration kits and meals to save lives of the impacted population.
Beneficiary Application Process for Assistance:
- A beneficiary can reach out for assistance through our care center no. 77000 14515 either by calling or sending a message on WhatsApp application from their smartphone or can contact an area volunteer to log a request.
- An application form is been designed to appropriately document the beneficiaries' basic details and nature of the requirement. To submit a request this application form needs to be filled by the applicant, along with a copy of a handwritten note explaining the hardship and requirement, an identification proof (which must serve the purpose of identification and proof of residence), and a passport size photograph.
- On receipt of the application, the files are reviewed once a week by the investigation team and a workflow is triggered for an assigned area volunteer to investigate the request and submit the report on the prescribed parameters within a specified timeframe.
- Once this investigation report is received and based upon the recommendation of area volunteer and upon assessing the pre-approved eligibility criteria, the investigation is deemed as ‘complete’ and the file is submitted to the management team with an endorsement to issue a cheque or transfer funds in the beneficiary account or to be paid in cash.
- Once approved the accounts team completes the disbursement and updates the transaction in records.
Who are the volunteers of the Anfaal Foundation?
Group of common people who are willing to work for the betterment of the community.
Team members are mostly businessmen, working professionals from multi-nationals, and students.
Self-dependent individuals to serve Allah and His creation and no other wish except for attainment of closeness to Allah.
Currently, the following teams are formed and are actively working on the ground:
Team Sadqa Box:
Work of this team is to target various areas of Mumbai and its suburbs and increase the count of Sadqa Boxes in community
For the same, the team has formed a calendar of events in which community members gather in Masjid or Imambargah and this team arrange campaign for distribution and registrations new sadqa box
At this point of time, there are 2200 registered and active sadqa boxes in and around Mumbai region
Team Investigation:
Investigation plays a significant role by evaluating the beneficiary applications and performing investigation by personally visiting the applicants home to validate the details provided in the application
The team also provide recommendation/ decision on the application based on the investigation reports, based on which the accounts team disburses the funds.
The team spends time and effort to collect maximum information possible to minimize the chances of fraud or mismanagement, thus replenishes the confidence in the donors/sponsors.
Team Accounts and Legal procedures:
As Anfaal Foundation is registered trust under The Office of Charity Commissioner, Maharashtra, we believe in working on the principle of transparency, our accounts and legal procedures team is in constant touch with our Chartered Accountant (“CA”) and ensures that the exchange of funds or any new projects and regular operations are in line with the rules and regulations prescribed by the Charity Commission.
We have a dedicated Chartered Accountant (‘CA’) who provide consultancy services to us for all our accounts related activities and a group of legal experts who guides us upon important and necessary cases or decisions.
Team Education:
Education is the backbone to shape and provide a sturdy posture to our future generations to come. Great emphasis is given on education by the great scholars of our time Grand Ayatullah Sayyed Ali Sistani and Grand Ayatullah Sayed Ali Khamenei, and therefore a dedicated team is handling this important sector
The team not only fulfills the basic financial need of students in terms of scholarship to continue their school and college education but also forms strategic plans to increase the quality and efficiency of the students to accomplish their goals.
The team regularly designs and conducts various education-related projects/programs to expand our horizon and provide the under-privileged a platform to evaluate their strengths and capabilities in line without vision.
